Inside a monthly rebalance proposal

What actually arrives in your inbox each month, what is in it, and every button you can press before a single order reaches your exchange.

A rebalance proposal is the core of the product, so it is worth describing exactly what it contains and what happens after it lands.

What is in the proposal

  • Your current holdings per exchange, with their current weight.
  • The target weight from your selected index after its monthly review.
  • The drift per asset — how far you have moved from the target.
  • A concrete list of buy and sell orders that would close that gap.
  • Any index constituent your exchange does not list, called out explicitly.

What you can do with it

Approve it as-is, remove or adjust individual lines, postpone it to next month, or reject it. Approval applies to that one set of transactions and nothing else — there is no standing mandate to renew.

After approval

The approved orders are transmitted to your exchange through your trade-only API key and recorded in an audit trail you can export. Your exchange charges its own trading fees; LunaVector charges none.
