Q: How does LunaVector handle custody and access?

LunaVector is non-custodial: your assets always stay on your own exchange. We never hold, move or pool customer funds, and the API keys we ask for cannot withdraw.

Q: What could LunaVector do with my API key?

Only two things: read your balances and place the specific trades you approved. Withdrawal permission is never requested, and if you accidentally grant it we cannot use it — the platform has no withdrawal function at all.

Q: Does anything happen automatically?

No. LunaVector never trades on its own. Every proposal can be approved, edited, postponed or rejected by you, and each approval applies only to that one set of transactions.

Q: What does a rebalance proposal actually look like?

A list of concrete buy and sell orders per asset, with the amount, the resulting weight and the difference against your selected index. You see the full list before anything is sent, and you can remove or adjust individual lines.

Q: How often do you prepare rebalance proposals?

Indexes are reviewed monthly. Each month LunaVector calculates a rebalance proposal based on your selected index and notifies you. Nothing is sent to your exchange until you review and approve that specific set of transactions.

Q: How do I connect my exchange account?

Generate a trade-only API key on your exchange and paste it into LunaVector. Our step-by-step guide walks you through it in under five minutes, per exchange.

Q: What if my exchange doesn't list all the coins in the index?

LunaVector maps your index to the assets available on your exchange and adjusts the target weights accordingly, so the proposal stays as close to the index as possible. Any asset that cannot be traded is shown explicitly in the proposal.

Q: Is LunaVector a licensed crypto service provider?

No. LunaVector does not hold a CASP licence and does not custody assets, execute trades on its own initiative or provide investment advice. We are a portfolio tracking and proposal tool; every transaction is placed on your own exchange account after you approve it.

Q: Do you give investment advice?

No. The indexes we support are generic and rules-based: identical for every customer who selects them, never personalised or recommended. Deciding whether an index suits your circumstances is up to you.
